Design & Manufacturing Technology of Sand Table Models

Sand table models are fabricated with mainstream high-end technology combining digital CNC processing and elaborate manual finishing, delivering balanced precision, texture and realistic reproduction under full standardized implementation.

  • At the preliminary stage, we conduct precise coordination based on your CAD and BIM drawings. Automated processing of architectural, terrain and road components is carried out via CNC laser cutting, 5-axis engraving and 3D printing to eliminate manual errors, achieving dimensional accuracy up to 0.1 mm.
  • The base framework is shaped with waterproof composite materials, matched with layered epoxy water features, simulated vegetation and customized landscape ornaments to faithfully replicate the texture of real-world scenes.
  • All buildings, road surfaces and landscape elements receive automated UV spray coating for uniform, long-lasting color with superior color fastness. Subsequent integration of electromechanical lighting systems enables zone-controlled illumination and dynamic traffic flow effects.
  • The entire workflow adopts refined division of labor and modular assembly. Upon completion, unified commissioning, dust removal and encapsulation are performed. Finished models feature vivid three-dimensional texture and outstanding stability, suitable for long-term exhibition display.
